After extensive consideration of the State of California's orders and recommendations regarding COVID-19, the 2020 AEP Conference Committee and the AEP Board of Directors have made the decision to hold this year's conference virtually. The safety of our attendees, speakers, and exhibitors is a top priority, and the AEP Board of Directors and Conference Committee has concluded that going virtual is the safest way to hold this year's conference.
The virtual conference is still scheduled to be held November 8-11, 2020. All sessions will still be offered, and our exhibit hall and sponsor recognition will still happen virtually! Additionally, attendees will have access to session recordings and handouts. AICP and MCLE credits will still be offered for this virtual conference.
Conference attendees who have already registered and are able to attend the conference virtually are eligible for a 50% refund and need not take action at this time. We will begin the 50% refund process immediately.
Those who have registered but are unable to attend virtually may contact Candace Bynder to cancel for a full refund.
For those who have yet to register, AEP will be re-opening the early registration rates effective immediately, and all rates will be offered at 50% less than original rates. For example, AEP members pay $450 for our in-person conference, and $225 for our virtual conference!
If you've booked a hotel room at Tenaya Lodge, no further action on your behalf is needed at this time. Your reservation will be automatically cancelled and your deposit will be refunded.
If you've booked a hotel room at a neighboring property, please cancel your reservation at this time.
If you are scheduled to speak at this conference, the 2020 AEP Programs Committee will contact you shortly to discuss next steps.
